A closed tin can decorated with floral motifs, camouflaged by springtime surroundings. Emília Nadal has designed product packaging alluding to satires and criticisms of consumer society, culture and politics.In this particular case, it's a tin can placed next to a leafy bouquet of daisies, white and yellow, and red watsónias, speckled with green leaves. The tin has the reflected image of the bouquet, and next to it a tall glass filled with red wine, a butterfly perched on a yellow cocoon and a pair of cherries with feet.
The placement of the tin allows you to read the word ‘STILLIFE’ which is written on the top edge in yellow letters outlined in red.
The tin rests on a wavy white cloth with yellow and blue highlights. A lemon is placed in the bottom left-hand corner and a yellow-winged butterfly rests on a white daisy to its right.
