MusA Collections

The University of Aveiro has collections in the field of Visual and Decorative Arts, in the categories of painting, gravure, drawing, glass, ceramics, sculpture, metals, textiles and wood. Also has a vast collection connected to graphic arts, particulary posters, and also the collections of musical instruments and 78 rpm shellac records.

ARTISTS AND DONORS

University of Aveiro (UA) has several collections donated and purchased from national and foreign artists. The collector Francisco Madeira Luís, the french painter Hélène de Beauvoir or the Jazz critic José Duarte are some of the personalities who inrich the UA museum collections.
