Description
An abstract composition with a black background made up of two graphic elements that structurally break with each other: a first vertical element, similar to a mushroom, and a second horizontal element that cuts through the first along its entire length.
The first element, with a gnarled head, similar to that of a hollow bell mushroom, with a straight trunk and a bulbous foot, occupies the entire vertical length of the engraving. It is decorated in gradations of blue, with motifs similar to jellyfish populations, which condensed over the entire right half leave some tentacles drifting. There is a deformation of the jellyfish bodies as they merge into one another, while maintaining diaphanousness and luminosity.
The centre of the print is occupied by a textured light brown horizontal band. In successive planes, from the top left corner to the middle of the strip, a disorganised row of ants is generated, trapped in a sandstorm. The outline of each insect is dark brown with a sandy colour. Only the two centre ants, in the foreground, are covered in small spots, giving them volume and texture.
The brown band supports the mushroom, which is suspended and held by the trunk through a slit in the band that holds it. Underneath it is a bulging foot decorated with a condensation of jellyfish.
