Layer of ground inverted in relation to the sky, where two trapeze artists are performing an act in the open air.The gold-coloured strip of land, randomly crossed out in black, is at the top of the picture. Inverted trees are drawn on the horizon line and the bars of a trapeze are attached to the bottom right-hand side. There, two trapeze artists are performing their act. Both, with their arms open, are balancing on a vertical object held by their mouths, forming a human chain. The first costume has its legs attached to the beam with its head down and the second has its head up and its body stretched out, suspended in the immensity of the sky. It seems small and lost in the midst of the cottony white clouds, which here and there make up the cerulean blue.

A faixa de terra em tons ouro, riscada aleatoriamente a preto, encontra-se no topo da gravura. Na linha de demarcação do horizonte estão desenhadas árvores invertidas, e do lado direito, estão presas, inferiormente, as barras de um trapézio. Aí, pendurados, dois trapezistas estão a fazer o seu número. Ambos, de braços abertos equilibram-se através de um objeto vertical, seguro pela boca, formando uma corrente humana. O primeiro figurino tem as pernas presas na trave com a cabeça para baixo e o segundo encontra com a cabeça erguida e com o corpo esticado, suspenso na imensidão do céu. Parece pequeno e perdido no meio das nuvens brancas algodoadas, que aqui e ali compõem o azul cerúleo.Languages
