Description

Three ducks fly in a flock over the enlarged shadow of a man.
In the foreground, in the centre of the picture, with their wings spread and heads turned to the right, are three ducks in a vertical row. The front bird is larger and saturated in orange, the central one is yellow and the smaller one flying in the background is coloured white.
In the background, at the bottom of the picture, is the façade of a light lilac house. It's a simple ground floor building with two square windows separated in the middle by a black door. The scissors of the façade are covered by the duck's orange wing.
In the background, behind the house and covered by the ducks, is a black shadow of a large man with a ‘Zorro’ hat on his head and a folded burden on his right shoulder. He seems to be moving forwards, his left arm hanging down and away from his body. His left hand is covered by the orange wing of a duck.
The background is coloured in saturated indigo blue.

Em primeiro plano, encontram-se, no centro da gravura, de asas abertas e cabeças direcionadas para a direita, três patos, em fila vertical. A ave dianteira é maior e saturada de laranja, a central é amarela e a que voa em último plano, de menor dimensão, é colorida a branco. Em segundo plano, repousa na base inferior da gravura, a fachada de uma casa lilás clara. Trata-se de um edifício térreo, simples, com duas janelas quadradas, separadas, no meio, por uma porta preta. A tesoura da fachada é coberta pela asa laranja do pato. Em terceiro plano, por detrás da casa e coberto pelos patos, desenha-se uma sombra negra de um homem, de grande porte, com chapéu à "Zorro" na cabeça e um fardo dobrado no ombro direito. Parece avançar, o braço esquerdo pendente e afastado do corpo. A mão esquerda é coberta pela asa laranja do pato. O fundo da gravura é colorido a azul índigo saturado.
