A gathering of people in an open field. Only the forms of a man and a woman, both peasants, can be distinguished from the group with some clarity. The rest of the group appears dark and shapeless, like a blur, in the center of the engraving. The pair stands still, their faces turned to the right. The group gradually forms, with new elements continuing to arrive from the left. The landscape occupies the lower half of the work and resembles a green wheat field disappearing beyond the horizon. A yellow path forms horizontally, along which the group of people walk. The sky occupies the upper half of the engraving. It is colored in different shades of blue, distinguishing the direction of the coloration. The artist breaks the monochrome by introducing a thin black zigzag and the presence of white, alluding to clouds.The work is framed above and below by a dark blue and a red bar, respectively. Above this bar rests horizontally a flower with red petals and a green stem and leaves oriented to the right. On each lateral border of the engraving the author introduced thick brushstrokes in the shape of a cross, combining red and cerulean blue
