Description
This jewellery box is a handmade piece, made of wood, veneered in ebony and edged with mahogany, highlighting its edges. The decoration on the lid is made with holy wood, beech and rosewood veneer. The author called this box "Baco" (Bacchus).
Geometrically, it consists of two parts, the storage compartment and the lid. Together they correspond to a solid which is a rectangular (hollow) parallelepiped sectioned by a plane parallel to the bases, which determines the lid and the storage compartment. Between the compartment and the lid there is a pair of hinges, allowing the opening of the jewellery box to 180°. It should be noted that these brass fittings were also manufactured by the author.
