This jewellery box is a handmade piece, crafted out of wood and veneered with yew and arbutus root. Due to the symbology of the Platonic solid used to build the lid of the jewellery box, the octahedron, the author called it Symbol of Air.
Geometrically, the Symbol of Air is formed by a right square prism - the jewellery box compartment - and by an octahedron - the lid. In the closing process, the octahedron is partially introduced into the prism, with one vertex sitting inside the body of the jewellery box and the remaining vertices on the outside, thus creating its disguise. This disguise is only uncovered in the opening process when the lid totally separates from the body of the jewellery box.
