Compartment with access to a corner of a room, where a Louis XV-style bedside table is hidden in the dark. Only the edge of the drawer can be seen, as well as the centralised handle and the front legs of the piece of furniture. The other two are just visible, swallowed up by the shadow of the surrounding space. On the top of the small table stands an oil lamp, the body of which is supported by a long pole. The top of the lamp consists of an arm, which culminates in a handle cut out in the shape of a clover. Next to the lamp, on the right-hand side, a rounded shape resembling a helmet rests on the table top.The engraving shows the walls scratched, in pastel brown/grey tones, like an old, worn film. The cobbled floor appears rough.
